Rutillated quartz is overall of a transparent stone and while I can't manage that with fiber, I couldn't resist using the beautiful natural white wools as a backdrop for a bit of gold sparkle like the rutile inclusions found in the stone. Silk and long wool gives this fiber gem luster, strength, and drape while fine wool provides elasticity and a bit of structure. A light pinch of Angelina completes the illusion with a bit of flash.
